Mahogany Globe Wernicke bureau bookcase.

This is a lovely rare quality piece, that is full of age, charm and character. Would fit in so well with one of the far more common bookcases.

Solid with no loose joints.

All of the drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).

There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested.

Would look great in the right location!

Overall maximum dimensions: 86.5cm wide, 48cm deep, 117.5cm high (82cm high writing surface)

This bureau does not have the optional detachable front legs. There are some historical, believed extinct woodworm holes, that we have treated for good measure. The handles may not be original.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
