Description

This is an absolutely delightful Georgian mahogany bureau bookcase, dated about C1800.

Well maintained by previous owners, this bookcase retains a superb mellow antique patination, original brass handles and working keys.There are 5 smoothly running drawers to the base section.

The interior looks very special with numerous finely made drawers, and an antique leather writing surface. There are pigeon holes for stationary and documents, and enough space for a lap top!

The bookcase top is finely inlaid with Satinwood and has original glass panes. Enclosed are 3 substantial and fully adjustable shelves.
