A quality solid oak bureau bookcase with a marvellous cantilever interior(this pulls out as you bring the fall down to open the working area). The cornice has blind fretwork and raised mouldings, above a pair of astragal glazed doors to the bookcase which has three oak shelves. The lower section has superbly moulded drawers, with carved escutcheons, all sat on turned legs and a stretchered base. All the handles are present and original. The whole is in very good condition cleaned and waxed ready to use. splits into two halves for ease of carriage.
