Antique early-20th Century Anglo-Chinese hardwood desk, c1910. The desk is beautifully made and is decorated with a central carved panel to the front, carved scalloped handles, and carving to the legs and side.

The quality of the carving is very good, with the large central panel depicting village life/people walking across a bridge surrounded by foliage, and with sailing ships and dragons to the sides and legs. It has a great fitted interior with shelves and a drawer.

The unit is in good original condition commensurate with age and use, with only very minor surface marks/age related minor splits to the wood. We are not sure if the lock/hinges are original. Overall the condition is very much as you would expect from something that is over 100 years old.
