Queen Anne Style Bureau Bookcase C.1910.

Description

Excellent quality walnut bureau, faithfully recreated in the Queen Anne style, c.1910. A pair of solid walnut blind doors encase two adjustable shelves, above a small candle slide and stepped fitted interior containing eight drawers and leather writing surface. The top sits on a five drawer base, the upper drawers acting as loafers to the fall. Clad in symmetrical cross cut veneers with herring bone crossbanding to the drawers. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops and retaining original pear drop brass handles.
