Exceptional Inlaid Satinwood Cylinder Top Bureau C.1905.

Description

Exceptional quality inlaid Edwardian satinwood cylinder top bureau c.1905. Open the marquetry inlaid cylinder to reveal a fitted interior of pigeon holes and small stationery drawers plus a leather-top writing surface which slides forward to allow you to sit comfortably at the desk. Over two drawers and raised on slim tapering legs joined with a stretcher shelf. The top featuring two small cupboards and shelves with original brass gallery and mirrored back. Sparking satinwood veneers with beautiful marquetry work inlays featuring floral swags, urns and musical motifs plus stringing and crossbanding in a variety of timbers, continued on the sides and legs. Mahogany drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Original locks, keys supplied.
