Description

A well fitted bureau with a secret compartment and a variety of drawers over four height drawers with brass plate handles . The handles have been fitted for many years but there are signs of other handles having been fitted on the inside of the drawer fronts. The top bookcase has astragal glazed doors and all the original shelves which slide and adjust in position .

The bureau bookcase has its original back boards . One of the original Georgian panes of glass has a tiny crack which has been left in order to maintain the integrity of the piece
