Description

George 111 Mahogany Secretaire Cabinet. The inverted breakfront scrolled cornice over figured veneered frieze with moulded edges. The pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing 3 (ex 5) oak sliding trays all flanked by recessed panelled sides. Recess panels to the base flanking a secretaire drawer with oval recessed panels within quarter veneered frames having brass oval plate handles. The drawer having drop front with leather lined surface and pigeon holes over 5 mahogany lined drawers around an open book space. Pair of panelled doors below the frames having re-entrant corners. The interior having one ( ex 3 ) oak sliding trays.All on moulded square tapered legs.
