Cylinder Top Secretaire Bookcase.

19th century
Description

Splendid mid 19th.c. mahogany secretaire bookcase c.1870. Useful small dimensions, just 3 foot wide. Gazed bookcase top with adjustable shelves over a cylinder roll top desk and two door cupboard base. Lift the cylinder and the leather top writing surface pulls out to allow you to sit at the desk. Fitted interior of pigeon holes and three small drawers with bird’s eye maple fronts. The central portion of the writing surface lifts to beome a writing slope. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.

Dimensions: width 36", depth 24", height 89".
