A Very Good Mid-18thcentury Mahogany Bureau

Description

A very good late George II/early George III 18th century MAHOGANY BUREAU with a particularly well fitted interior.

In excellent original condition, it features four long graduated oak-lined drawers with original brass handles and locks and it is supported on four solid mahogany ogee feet. The fall opens to reveal this lovely interior, with a series of shaped "pigeonholes"; six small serpentine-fronted drawers and a central locking cupboard below which is a secret drawer. 38ins (96.5cms) wide.
