The lower section has four graduating oak lined drawers with cock beaded edges and quality brass swan neck handles. The bureau stands on bracket feet, has the usual old repairs due to age and use, a slight warp in the fall front adding to the character and charm you would expect to see on a genuine piece of antique furniture. It is a rich medium mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
