Antique Jacobean Style Oak Sideboard | by Maple & Co

Antique early 20th century Jacobean style sideboard in oak by Maple & Co of London, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of excellent quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and bearing the maker's 'By Royal Appointment' plaque inside the top drawer.

The canted front has a central bank of three drawers with turned knob handles, the top drawer fitted with a green baize-lined cutlery tray, flanked by two cupboard doors each opening to a shelf.

The doors have fielded panels carved with diamond lozenges, framed by bobbin-turned mouldings, beneath a moulded top with a low upstand to the back. The sideboard stands on carved bulbous cup and cover legs on sledge feet joined by a stretcher.

The oak displays a stunning figured grain and a warm, rich dark colour with a lovely mellow patina.

Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable oak sideboard from a renowned maker, a perfect addition to any dining room, living room or hallway.

• Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.

• Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.

• If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
