A striking French 19th century mahogany tallboy chest of drawers in the Regency Empire manner, exhibiting fashionable Egyptian Revival influences. The upper and lower sections comprise six oak-lined drawers, each fitted with a pair of elegant brass swing handles and highlighted with fine brass-inlaid stringing. The façade is framed by canted pilasters to either side, surmounted by decorative female bust mounts and terminating in distinctive projecting feet.
