This two-seater settee dates from the 1930s and follows a Baroque Revival style. The piece stands on an eight-leg dark oak base with scrolled aprons and prominent shell carvings, supporting scroll arms and a scalloped upholstered lower rail. Wide lemon and yellow vertical stripes cover the generous seat cushions, backrest, and arms, which maintain a clean appearance. Measuring 89 cm high, 213 cm in length, and 89 cm in overall depth with a 61 cm seat depth and 53 cm seat height, this large sofa works well as a principal seating piece in a traditional living room or drawing room.
