Antique Victorian Ebonised Sideboard | Lion Mask Carving

Antique 19th century ebonised Victorian sideboard, an exceptional and highly individual statement piece with remarkable decorative detail throughout.

Intricate carving enriches almost every section of the design, including imposing classical columns and striking carved lion mask details that immediately draw the eye.

Standing on flattened bun feet beneath a substantial plinth base, the sideboard has a grand and commanding presence while retaining beautifully considered proportions.

Four small drawers to the lower section are finished with decorative brass handles, adding useful storage amongst the elaborate detailing.

Continuing upwards, the raised gallery carries the same impressive carved theme, creating a wonderfully cohesive design from top to bottom.

Its beautiful ebonised colour gives the carving incredible depth and definition, allowing the finer details and craftsmanship to be fully appreciated.

Rich in decorative detail, well made and of good quality, this is a particularly desirable example of Victorian furniture with genuine individuality.

Far more than simply a practical sideboard, it is a one-of-a-kind piece designed to command attention and become a defining feature of the room.
