A Fine Quality Sheraton Revival Inlaid Desk by Edwards & Roberts

Description

A delightful inlaid desk by Edwards & Roberts. Featuring seven drawers to the base, all with highly decorative marquetry inlay and banding, the brass galleried superstructure with four inlaid drawers and a central stationery compartment with partitions and pen holder. The quality and detail is immense. The inside of all the the drawers are polished, it has all original handles and locks, even the inside and rear of the legs are as finely inlaid as the fronts. The back is also finely polished and inlaid so does not need to stand against a wall.

The writing surface now boasts a replacement burgundy tooled skiver, tooled to match the original.

Size: 42" wide x 24" deep x 43.1/2" high.
