Description

A fabulous antique Heriz carpet, woven circa 1920. The design features a large geometrical medallion on a soft terracotta field surrounded by a classic deep blue border. Very attractive secondary colours, particularly the sky blue in the medallion and in the minor border surrounding the field. A very decorative carpet.

Size: 3.77m x 2.68m (12ft 4in x 8ft 10in)

This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a couple of areas (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
