Small 18th.c. Oak Dresser Base C.1760

Description

Delightful little 18th.c. oak dresser base, Shropshire borders c.1760. Unusual small size, just 64½" wide. Two plank top with a moulded edge over three drawers with large brass knobs and thick oak drawer linings. With a very attractively shaped apron with three ogee pointed arches. Raised on square stiles front and rear. Great rustic character with early timbers of particularly good colour and patina, old worm holes and repairs to the moulding and apron. Generally very good condition, solid and sturdy, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
