Description

Antique 20th century pedestal desk in mahogany, a beautifully designed piece with an abundance of storage and an elegant traditional appearance.

Well made and of good quality, it would make a striking and practical addition to a study, office or reception room.
The desk stands on a plinth base and features a cupboard door to the left-hand pedestal, opening to reveal a useful storage compartment. On the opposite side are four drawers, with a further three drawers across the upper section, giving seven drawers in total. All are fitted with decorative brass handles.
Delicate carved pillars to the corners add a refined finishing detail, while the dark top provides a smart and practical writing surface.

The mahogany has a rich, warm colour with gorgeous natural grain throughout, enhancing the quality and character of the piece.
Presented in good condition, this impressive pedestal desk offers a wonderfully organised workspace with the enduring charm of traditional furniture.
