Regency Mahogany Four-Drawer Chest of Drawers

A fine Regency mahogany four-drawer chest of drawers, of elegant and restrained design. The chest stands upon splay feet and features four graduated, beech-lined drawers, each beautifully decorated with shaped boxwood line inlays and fitted with attractive decorative brass handles.

The chest is further enhanced by finely fluted canted corners, adding a distinctive Regency character and a pleasing architectural quality to the piece.

Presented in good condition, with a wonderful colour and patina, this is an exceptionally attractive and practical example of Regency-period furniture.
