A Fine Regency Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Description

A fine Regency mahogany chest of drawers, dating from the early 19th century, of elegant proportions and rich colour. The moulded top sits above an arrangement of three drawers, each fitted with twin brass knob handles and finished with finely beaded edges. The drawer fronts are framed by reeded pilasters to either side, lending architectural refinement to the piece. Raised on turned inverted baluster feet, the chest combines practicality with understated Regency elegance.
