Alfred Young Nutt (1847–1924) was an English architect, surveyor and accomplished watercolourist closely associated with Windsor. He worked for many years on the royal estate and at St George’s Chapel, later serving as Resident Architect at Windsor Castle. Alongside his architectural career, Nutt produced finely observed topographical watercolours, particularly of the Thames Valley, Windsor and other British landscapes. His works are noted for their precise architectural drawing, restrained colour and atmospheric handling.
