Description

Antique 20th century Edwardian bureau in figured walnut, a graceful piece that has plenty to enjoy before it is even opened.

The figured walnut gives the exterior a wonderfully lively grain, while delicate crossbanding across the front provides a refined decorative detail. Four cabriole legs lift the bureau elegantly from the floor, giving it a light and shapely appearance.

Three drawers offer useful everyday storage, each finished with beautiful brass handles that sit perfectly against the warm walnut. Opening the bureau reveals a fitted interior with numerous small storage compartments, creating a wonderfully organised place for letters, stationery and personal items.

A brown writing surface completes the design, ready for writing, reading or working from home. Well made and of good quality, this highly desirable bureau is presented in good condition. It would make a beautiful and useful feature in a study, bedroom or reception room.
