Antique 20th century carved linenfold bureau in oak, a characterful piece that brings together useful storage, a fitted writing surface and attractive traditional craftsmanship.

Well made and of good quality, it has all the charm expected of an oak bureau, with carved details adding further interest to the design. The lower section features three drawers, with a further carved drawer above, all fitted with knob handles. These provide practical storage for paperwork, stationery and other everyday essentials. Opening the bureau reveals a beautifully fitted interior, creating a convenient and organised place for writing or working.

Linenfold carving and further decorative details can be found in places throughout the piece, giving it texture and individual character. The oak has a rich, warm colour with gorgeous natural grain throughout, enhancing the quality of the wood and the carved work.

Presented in good condition, this attractive bureau would make a lovely feature in a study, bedroom or reception room.
