George III Mahogany Serpentine Front Chest of Drawers

Description

A George III serpentine fronted mahogany chest of drawers with original brass swan neck fittings and splayed bracket feet to the base c.1790. The solid mahogany chest with 'plum pudding' burrs to the moulded edge top. The top sat over four high quality graduated oak lined serpentine fronted drawers; each drawer with matching figured timbers, cockbead edges and original brass fittings. Splayed bracket feet to the base and solid figured mahogany sides to the chest. Superbly proportioned, excellent quality and presented in superb condition with a rich colour and polish.
