Victorian Turned Oak Cased Barometer

Description

A Victorian oak cased aneroid barometer with geometric border design c.1880. The turned solid oak case with a interlinked design of shallow carved geometric decoration and hanging loop to the top. Aneroid movement sat behind a white porcelain dial with weather predictions in red and black ornate lettering to the outer edge. The dial sat behind a glazed view window mounted in a polished brass bezel with central reading marker. Superb quality and original condition, fully serviced and working.
