Description

This very large antique pine double wardrobe dates from around 1900 and is in very good condition for its age. It has two large panelled doors, panelled sides and two smooth-running drawers at the base. The flat top also provides useful extra storage space.

The wardrobe is currently in bare wood and dismantles fully, helping it fit through most staircases and properties. We can provide personal delivery and assembly across much of the UK. For Scotland and other areas outside our normal delivery range, it can be sent by courier with an assembly video.

Inside, the wardrobe is empty and has a generous 20-inch hanging depth, measured from the back of the doors to the rear. A brass hanging rail can be fitted if required. It may also be possible to add a top shelf with the rail below—please ask to discuss your preferred layout.

The drawers work well. An original feature allows a drop-in peg to lock the drawers when the doors are locked. Waxing is also available before delivery.

The current-condition price is £1,060. Alternatively, we can fully restore and wax the wardrobe for £1,190.
