Brass Peacock Fan Fire Screen

Description

An impressive brass fire screen in the form of a peacock’s fully displayed tail. The pierced fan-shaped leaves open smoothly to create a broad decorative screen and fold neatly behind the ornate central support when not in use.

The cast brass frame is richly decorated with scrolling foliage, floral motifs, swags and a central classical medallion, surmounted by an elaborate pierced carrying handle. Raised on a substantial shaped base with further foliate and scroll decoration.
