Circa 1870. Superb quality large Victorian, 3-part figured walnut knee hole desk. The top with rounded corners with a new green gilt-tooled leather and moulded fore edges above three frieze drawers with original turned handles, brass name-plate holders and solid walnut drawer linings (sign of quality). The central drawer with Brahma lock and another drawer with working lock and key. Supported on two pedestals with three matching drawers over moulded enclosed bases. Desk is freestanding with a polished back.
