Antique 20th century low chest of drawers in oak, a wonderfully practical and unusual piece that combines traditional styling with clever design. Very well made and of good quality, this attractive chest offers excellent storage while retaining a compact size, making it ideal for a variety of rooms throughout the home.

To the front are two drawers fitted with their original brass handles. The lower drawer is fully functional and provides generous storage, while the upper drawer front cleverly folds down to reveal a hidden cupboard, creating a discreet and highly useful storage compartment. This ingenious arrangement gives the appearance of a conventional chest of drawers while offering added versatility. The chest stands on attractive bracket feet with decorative studs, completing its classic appearance.

The oak has matured beautifully over the years, displaying gorgeous natural grain and a rich, warm colour throughout.
