A Howard and Sons Chaise Longue

Description

Howard and Sons Chaise Longue with a left hand arm.

Circa 1880, English

Solid hardwood frame and solid mahogany legs which are ring turned and with the original ring turned gilt brass cup castors to all legs.

Stamped in the usual way to the leg and castors.

Fully traditionally upholstered, with a hand tied sprung seat and with horsehair fillings.

For upholstery.

Metric: Width 178cm x Depth 69cm x Height 83cm, with a seat height of 37cm.

Imperial: Length 5 ft 10⅛" x Depth 2 ft 3⅛" x Height 2 ft 8⅞", with a seat height of 1 ft 2⅞".
