Gents 1950s Smiths wrist watch for J W Benson.
The watch has a 16-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Smith’s ‘Made in England’, and it is also signed with the name of the original high end retailer, J W Benson.
The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. The case is in very nice condition.
The lens is in good condition too; some white natural light reflection showing in the front photos.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
