Description

A rather wonderful George III mahogany bureau bookcase with broken swan neck pediment and finial. Unusually with Paktong (A Chinese silver coloured alloy) handles escutcheons and even hinges. Good interior with loads of secret drawers etc.

Good provenance having previously belonged to Cannon Rawnsley a founding member of the National Trust.
