1940s Revue pocket watch and box.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, identified as by Revue, which is working nicely. The movement is also signed with the name Limit, an importer of watches into the UK. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a 1946 long service inscription from Portland Cement.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, an English case maker and supplier to various watch makers. The case has a few minor marks, nothing too serious.
The acrylic lens is in good condition (some natural white light reflection showing in the main photo).
The dial is in lovely condition with original hands.
The watch comes in a vintage Dennison cardboard box
