Antique Silver Omega Pocket Watch, 1912

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique silver Omega pocket watch, 1912.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name, and it has the Omega serial number 4,971,498 which dates it back to 1912.

The movement is protected by an inner cover which is also signed Omega, and has images of medals.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside both of the hinged case backs. The Omega logo is also inside the case back. The case is in superb condition with rose gold wash around the edges, nice crisp engine turned detail to the back and a vacant cartouche to the centre.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The dial is signed with the Omega name and logo, and it has the inner 24 hour numbers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
