Billy Hunt & Co. has dated this piece to the 1920s.
This one has a pleasing stance and is compact in scale compared to many of its counterparts. We have two useful solid oak drawers with original drop pendant handles both stamped to rear with casting number, a rather nice set of turned legs with a flat extended base and of course a useful interior of a little bank of pigeon holes, stamp drawer and original “mock croc” writing area all hidden and kept secret by way of a working lock and key.

Condition is 1st rate after a careful repolish and beeswax to the well grained English oak. Expect light wear and a piece that is ready for placing.
A lovely little English oak piece late 1920s.
