Of elegant bombe and serpentine form, this attractive French walnut commode displays the graceful curves and refined ornament associated with the Louis XV style.
 
The piece is fitted with two oak-lined drawers, the fronts and sides richly adorned with finely executed marquetry inlays, creating a harmonious and decorative effect. The commode is further enhanced with finely cast ormolu mounts, handles, and escutcheons, providing a pleasing contrast to the warmth of the walnut veneers.
 
The top is surmounted by a striking mottled marble slab, completing the composition with both practicality and visual sophistication.
