Each sphinx reclines with a commanding forward gaze with serpent and eagle diadem headdress, resting with front paws postured on solid white veined Carrara marble plinths. These classical Egyptian sphinx figures often wear a pharaonic headdress reminiscent of the Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt.
