A ONE OFF DESIGN AKIN TO A GROUP OF 18TH CENTURY IVORY GROUND PRAYER RUGS WITH MINIMALIST DECORATION THAT ALL SOLD FOR MAD MONEY THOSE OF US IN THE KNOW.
 
THIS IS A VERY UNUSUAL RUG INDEED WHICH COULD VERY WELL BE A KIND OF A PRAYER RUG. 3 FOOT 11 INCHES BY JUST UNDER 3 FOOT 3 INCHES. 120CM X 98CM. AT WIDEST POINTS. FRINGES NOT MEASURED IN SIZE. ALL WOOL CONSTRUCTION.
 
REQUIRES A BIT OF RE-PILING TO THE CENTRAL FLOWER HEAD AND TO RIGHT SIDE EDGE BORDER. TWO OLD HESSIAN PATCHES TO REVERSE. HAVE LEFT AS IS AS IT HAS BEEN FOUND. ENDS BEEN BLANKET STITCHED AND SIDE CORDS VERY GOOD.
