Beautiful Chinese Silk Rug Carpet

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a good early 20th century Chinese Silk Rug in excellent clean condition dating from around 1930. The finely hand woven carpet has great detail to the floral indigo field which is centred by a medallion and framed by ivory borders of meandering vines and palmettes. This is in beautiful original condition with fringes all intact and looks lovely down but would also make a fine wall hanging.

The rug measures 92cm by 61cm.
