Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated this Georgian Harbour Oil Painting to the 1800s.
In the foreground, a rowing boat carrying three figures drifts across calm reflective waters, while seabirds skim the surface. To the right, a rugged coastline with a lighthouse and ruined structure rises gently from the shoreline, adding both narrative interest and depth.

The painting displays delicate tonal handling and a restrained maritime palette typical of late Georgian coastal painting. The glassy water, subtle sky gradation, and careful rendering of rigging and sailwork demonstrate a confident hand.

Presented in a later dark frame.
