Large Antique Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Description

A very impressive large antique Victorian mahogany chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840-1860 period.

It is of superb quality, it is extremely well made with lots of storage space inside the generous drawers. The lower drawer is built into the plinth base, so is extra deep. The drawers have lovely turned handles, the front edges are chamfered with applied panels and this has a beautifully moulded edge to the solid mahogany top.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.

Depth – 21 inches , 53 cm
