Very large and decorative mid 19th century Chinese bronze bowl,c1850. Standing on a raised base this is a highly decorative example with scalloped decoration to the rim and panels across the main body featuring birds in flight etc in relief. The stylised handles are in the form of bamboo stems. Overall condition is good, in line with age and use. There are minor scuffs/rubbing, a very small deformation to the rim and a few historical repairs which are only really visible on the inside of the bowl. All in all a large and highly decorative Chinese antique which would display well in a modern or older setting.
