Description

The watch has a good quality 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has a Fogg Tadpole patent regulator, screw-set jewels and a Breguet hairspring. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 4,106,219 which dates it back to around 1890. It is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1895, with a sponsor’s mark of AB for Alfred Bedford, Manager of Waltham UK. The case is in good condition. The back of the watch has the initials of the original owner.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
