A Burr Walnut tall narrow Bereau bookcase and dating from around 1920. This beareau / bookcase has a moulded cornice with a wide lip underneath and a small pedament above. It features a single glazed door with two adjustable shelves inside. Under this is the fall front of the desk of which, inside is a drawer , assorted pigeon holes and a leather writing surface. It then has three long graduated drawers all of which are Mahogany lined with original Brass handles. It is moulded around the bottom and stands on cabriole legs. The top lifts off the base for ease of movement.
