Solid and strong, with no loose joints, this desk includes a key for the fall front and features a later baize writing surface in good condition. The chest separates into two halves for ease of transport.

Condition
In good antique condition; it shows expected signs of age, including historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs, and alterations. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated. Later added handles and brassware. The piece has minor veneer losses, reflecting its natural development over the centuries. Originally, it would have featured bun feet.
