A Fine Quality Victorian Period Walnut Pedestal Desk.

A fine quality Victorian Period walnut pedestal desk. The rectangular top having an inset burgundy writing surface with blind and gilt tooling, above an arrangement of nine rectangular drawers retaining the original turned walnut drawer pulls. Having rounded corners and figured walnut sides, raised on a rounded cornered plinth. English circa 1880. Excellent original condition other than a top quality new leather, cleaned and waxed.
