A fantastic Japanese Tansu chest in original condition, crafted from richly grained cedar and adorned with traditional iron hardware. This two-part chest features multiple drawers and compartments, each fitted with ornate black metal handles and decorative mounts showcasing circular and floral motifs. The ironwork is all original, with side-mounted carry handles—one set designed to flip up and secure the upper section to the base.
