West persia, circa 1920.

Large sarouk carpet in distressed condition.

Areas of heavy wear. Hole right side border. Top end with repaired patch. Many images of this carpet.

What can I say, it is a large size as a floor coverer for a bigger room and if one placed furniture strategically on the worser areas it wouldn't look bad at all.

Typical country house look you see in the majority of stately homes and larger period houses.

Anyway priced to sell at £450. The equivalent carpet this size in better condition would be at least 5k look around see for yourself..
