Description

Gents 1940s Smiths wrist watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, stamped Made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has a chrome plated bezel, alloy centre and a stainless steel case back, a combination often seen in the late 1940s / early 1950s. The case is in lovely condition.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
